Q. Can family and friends use my holiday home?
A. Yes, use of the caravan is for private use by you, your family and friends. No hiring.
Q. What are running the costs?
A. Until further notice these are as follows;
– There annual pitch rental fees start at £2695 inc VAT.
– Gas / Water / Electric- metered (billed periodically) typically range from £250 – £400 per year depending how often your caravan is used.
– All caravans must be insured, we can suggest a specialist insurance company, please as for details.
Q. Can we sell our caravan after buying it?
A. Yes, either to a 3rd party or back to Meadow View Caravan & Lodge Park. Terms and conditions apply, these will be set out in the Site Agreement.
Q. Do I own the land my holiday home is sited on?
A. No, you are buying your holiday home but renting the pitch on which it stands. For this and the cost of on-going maintenance you pay an annual site fee.
Q. What security do I have?
A. We offer you a formal agreement approved by the British Holiday & Home Parks Association for the purpose of a Code of Practice recognised by the Office of fair Trading. This agreement sets out all our obligations to each other.
Q. Are tourers, tents allowed?
A. No, this site is static caravans only and is for the exclusive use of our holiday home owners
Q. Are there Holiday Park rules?
A. Yes, please ask for copy when arranging a viewing.
Q. Can I use my holiday home as permanent home?
A. No, all our static caravans & lodges are restricted to holiday use only.
Proof of primary residence required each year.
Q. Can I park my car near my caravan?
A. Yes, there is an allocated space exclusively for your use alongside your holiday home. There is a Car Park for visitors, if required.
Q. Can any contractor work on my holiday home?
A. We ask that only approved contractors work on our site. This protects you, as we insist on public liability insurance documents and check qualifications and accreditations.
Q. Can I use my holiday home all year around?
A. If you are on one of our 52 week holiday licenced plots, you will be able to visit your holiday home all year, as long as your caravan is winterised.
Q. When is the Park Open?
A.We currently have a development, called The Brambles, these plots can be used for your holiday home all year round, as long as your caravan is winterised.
If you are on one of our shorter licenced plots or your caravan or lodge is of a standard specification, you can use your caravan from March until October.
